Poetry Schmoetry
I was another person yesterday, I will become yet
another tomorrow. What I have seen I have forgotten,
but it is still there somewhere in the attic.
The fear is not mine, I have only borrowed it as long
as I need it.
This is the most common comic effect: someone throws himself with full forces against an open door.
At night the windows should stand open for Something
that wants to go out or in.
Scarecrows stand in Sunday suits, black as guests at a
funeral in the midst of all the arriving city dwellers
in garish rags.
No prayers help when lightning makes the window shade
fly up with a snap. But somebody can open a book and
enter into a wonderful garden.
What is repressed in dreams breaks out in reality and what the cuckoos write in May will fly on its own wings in September.

This is why I don't watch local TV. The programs are bad enough, but the commercials just make me want to pound my head against a brick wall. Naiinsulto my IQ. =S
The line itself is insulting and offensive, Gretchen Barretto saying it just makes it worse. I believe she is the word pretentious personified (I don't think very highly of her-- this is putting it very mildly.) :-P
Oh, the marvel taheebo ad would make your day... Imagine Bea Alonzo saying, it strengthens the buddies immune system... HAHAHAHAHA.
I thought it was "BODICE immune system"? :p And I thought her "it won't CLUG your pores" bit for ZELeteque was teeth-grindingly bad enough.
My bad. After seeing it again, she really says "It strengthens the BODICE immune system". HAHAHAHA.
Trust me, the zeleteque ad is much better than the marvel taheebo ad... ;-)
